Skincare Routine For Oily Skin

Skincare Routine
For Oily Skin

(Oily Skin)

Perform in the bathroom, by your sink!

What you will need:

-Baby Wipes

-Tooth brush (basic, from the dollar store or any close-by drug store)

-Facial Cleanser containing Salicylic acid

-Hydrogen Peroxide

-Clean Towel, or Paper towel

[Step by step to show you how to cleanse your skin and control oily skin]

Main cause of oily skin: excessive sebum production. Sebum glands are all over the face, they are mostly located on the middle part of the forehead between the eyebrows, nose, and on the deep part of the cheek thats closest to the nose, parallel to your cheek bone.

AVOID Washing your face more than 2 times a day (washing your face more than twice a day will make your sebum   glands HYPER and produce more oil. Keep it to a minimum! :)

AVOID Harsh cleansers and oily moisturizers that you see don’t work for you and are irritating your skin

Step 1.

Remove all makeup with inexpensive baby wipes!  There is no need for you to go out and purchase that really expansive makeup remover. If you didn’t know already, most makeup removers in the markets consist of mostly oil. I’m sure you don’t want any more oil on top of your oily skin. Stay away from oily makeup removers! Get inexpensive unscented baby wipes and get rid of eye makeup down to your foundation.

Step 2.

Make a toothbrush a facial brush! :) Buy a basic toothbrush that doesn’t cost more than 1 , 2, or 3 dollars and keep it for YOUR FACE ONLY! Rinse it with lukewarm water.(not cold , not hot .. just in between)

Step 3.

Take your facial cleanser containing Salicylic acid. For example Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser that you could buy at Walgreens, checkout www.Walgreens.com . Any cleanser containing Salicylic acid will do, (oil-free optional). Pre-Rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply the Facial cleanser containing Salicylic acid on the face, or on your Facial brush (toothbrush) and massage your face in small circular motions, (message your neck too! optional)

Salicylic Acid helps fight Acne-prone skin! It is drying , perfect for oily skin :)

Step 4.

Rinse your face with Hydrogen Peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide is great for the skin. If you have acne it will help clear it up and hydrate your skin!

Step 5.

Pat dry with a clean towel, or paper towel. (I prefer paper-towel because its gentle on my skin and soaks up all the water very well:) )

Step 6.

Apply a very thin coat of oil free moisturizer containing SPF 15 + (if you purchase a moiisturizer that does not contain SPF, please apply sunscrean on top) and let the skin absorb the moisturizer for no longer than 5 minutes, after 5 minutes pass , tap the skin with a paper towel to absorb any excess.

You will see results in one - two weeks!

Repeat twice a day.

your skin will become blemish free and oil free.

Enjoy!
